The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement that Younis Khan, the batting coach of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the national cricket team, had parted ways by mutual consent. Younis Khan was appointed as the batting coach for two years in November last year.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Wasim Khan said that it was unfortunate to lose a tall and experienced person like Younis Khan. He acknowledged Younis Khan's services as the short-term batting coach of the national cricket team and hoped that he would be available to the PCB in the future to exchange his experience and qualifications.
He said that the PCB and Younis Khan have agreed to refrain from any further comment on the matter, so the national cricket team will not have the services of a batting coach during the tour of England, but will replace Younis Khan for the tour of West Indies. The decision will be made in due course.
