The possible date of Eid-ul-Adha has been announced in Pakistan

 

The Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee said that the moon of Dhi Qada has not been seen in any part of the country due to which the first Dhi Qada will be on Saturday, June 12.

A meeting of the Central Route Hilal Committee was held under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad. The zonal committees were also contacted during the meeting which lasted for several hours but no evidence of moon sighting was received from anywhere.

According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the month of Shawwal in Pakistan will last for 30 days and the first Dhul-Qa'dah will be on Saturday, June 12. In addition, Eid al-Adha is likely to be celebrated in the country on July 20.
