The FATF decided to keep Pakistan on the gray list

 

The President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) said that issues related to different countries were discussed and Ghana has been removed from the gray list while Pakistan will remain on the gray list.

The FATF virtual meeting continued in Paris from June 21 to 25 to consider the Asia-Pacific Group's report on Pakistan. The FATF President said in a press conference that Pakistan should remain on the gray list. While Pakistan has achieved 26 of the 27 targets of the 2018 Action Plan. He said that Pakistan will remain under surveillance and work needs to be done on various issues. He added that he is satisfied with Pakistan's progress. Yes, Pakistan needs to improve its punishment system and punish the 1373 UN-designated terrorists.
