Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen is presenting the budget for the new financial year in the National Assembly with a volume of Rs. 8,487 billion in which the minimum wage has been increased to Rs. 20,000.
According to details, Shaukat Tareen said that 10 percent ad hoc relief will be provided to federal government employees, pension of all pensioners will be increased by 10 percent, orderly allowance is being increased from 14 thousand to 17 thousand. 5 billion has been allocated for conducting a new census in 2022.
Shaukat Tareen said that Rs 260 billion has been set aside in the budget for the Ehsas program while the anchorage system will be continued. He acknowledged that the lives of the poor have been saved due to inflation.
