Israeli forces broke the hand of a female journalist

 
Israeli forces broke the hand of an Al Jazeera reporter covering Palestinian protests.

According to international media reports, the female journalist was present to cover the Palestinian protests in East Jerusalem when Israeli forces stopped her from covering them.

Locals were protesting the eviction of Palestinians by Jewish settlers.

Guevara Boudiri was handcuffed and arrested by Israeli forces and pushed into a car, and the woman was released several hours later. Guevara Boudiri was shifted to a hospital where he was discharged after receiving medical treatment.

The female journalist told Al Jazeera that she was injured during the beating by Israeli officials at the time of her arrest, breaking a bone in her left arm and injuring other parts of her body.

Boudiri has been with the Al Jazeera Network since 2000 and has been reporting for the Al Jazeera Arabic channel. There was also a press card from the Israeli government.
