A Russian-made MiG-29 crashed during a military exercise in the European country of Bulgaria.
According to foreign media, a MiG-29 plane crashed while flying over the Black Sea during a military exercise called Shabla-21. Authorities say the plane disappeared from radar in the afternoon, after which a rescue operation was launched. The wreckage of the plane has been found but the pilot is still missing and search is on.
It may be recalled that there have been several incidents of destruction of Russian-made MiG-21 and MiG-29 aircraft in India before.
