"And I'm probably the worst person in the world, but millions of people follow me and I consider it my duty to try to correct whatever is going wrong," said Rabbi Pirzada.
The former singer said, "I did not insult Malala in any of my messages but I have asked her to reconsider her recent statement."
It may be recalled that Rabi Pirzada, while reacting to the statement regarding Malala Yousafzai's marriage, had said, "Sister, I have given up music, but seeing you, I remembered the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. See
He said, "We Muslims do not speak abusively or immorally to anyone, but we do hope that those who make negative statements about the religion will not represent our religion."
It should be noted that Malala Yousafzai's interview was published on the website of British fashion magazine Vogue in which she also talked about marriage.
According to Vogue magazine, Malala Yousafzai had said that she still did not understand why people get married. If you want to be with someone in your life, why do you need to sign marriage papers? Can't it just be a partnership?
