A polo match between Cambridge and Oxford was played at the Guards Polo Club in London. Junaid Safdar was representing Cambridge, the second Pakistani to be part of the Cambridge polo team.

On the other hand, this match of polo was in the name of Junaid's opposing team Oxford, but Junaid Safdar scored all three goals for Cambridge. Junaid Safdar's horse was awarded the "Best Playing Pony" award for his outstanding performance.
