It was announced to start air rescue service for timely response on remote and difficult routes of Punjab.
According to details, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar said that new ambulances were not provided to Rescue 1122 after 2015. We are providing new ambulances to Rescue 1122 at a cost of Rs 1.5 billion. Sardar Usman Bazdar announced that remote and An air rescue service will be launched for timely response on difficult routes.
The Chief Minister Punjab said that our government has procured new ambulances to improve the emergency service, emergency service is being launched in 86 tehsils this year, motorbike ambulance service is also being started in 27 districts. Punjab Emergency Council meeting has not been held for 10 years due to which many important issues have been delayed. Punjab Emergency Service Amendment Act 2021 has created service structure for rescuers. Rescuers have been deprived of service structure for last 15 years. For the first time, the emergency service was given the status of a department so that timely decisions could be made in an emergency.
Sardar Usman Bazdar said that NCC style rescue cadet course RCC is being launched to make the youth responsible citizens, community emergency response teams are also ready for timely delivery of emergency service at the level of each union council. Will be
