Leading journalist Assad has been attacked by unknown individuals in the federal capital.
As a journalist, Assad's home was attacked by unknown individuals. Unidentified men severely beat the journalist and fled. The journalist has been shifted to PIMS Hospital in critical condition.
Anchor person Adil Shahzeb shared a photo from Asad's hospital and said that he had an injury on his left hand but after a long time he was not checked up by the doctors.
Assad's attack on social media is being strongly condemned. Among those who condemned the attack were journalists as well as political and social leaders, which is why the hashtag Asad Toor's name is trending on Twitter in Pakistan.
