The story of Maryam Mujtaba, the first female pilot of Azad Kashmir

 

Azad Kashmir's first female pilot Maryam Mujtaba says that it is not easy to become a pilot, for this it is very important to have good maths. She said that maybe people think that becoming a pilot is very easy but it is not so because you Has to study the entire engineering of the aircraft first and make a quick decision during the flight which is not easy.

Maryam Mujtaba hails from Shopian district of Occupied Kashmir and currently lives with her husband DSP Mujtaba Rathore Agha in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir. She joined PIA in 2011 as a cadet pilot and After receiving training from Century Air Academy in Rawalpindi and New Jersey, USA, she first flew domestic ATR aircraft and now travels around the world as a Captain and First Officer of Airbus 320 aircraft.
