Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisal Rana said that a final decision has been taken for a grand operation against dacoits in Kacha area for which armored and APC vehicles have been deployed in the area.
According to private TV, the operation against the dacoits for recovery of hostages in Kacha area of Rajanpur is continuing for the fifth day and special police unit and additional police personnel have been called by the police officials on the spot.
RPO Faisal Rana said that Rangers could also be called in to assist in the operation. The hideouts of the dacoits have been cordoned off.
According to a police spokesman, DPO Faisal Gulzar is commanding the operation while RPO Faisal Rana is present at Sonmiani police station to monitor the operation.
