German YouTuber and blogger Christine Batesman posted a farewell social media post after breaking up her engagement with actress Zoya Nasir. According to Daily Pakistan Global, Christine Batesman, better known as Chris Batesman, thanked Zoya Nasir for sharing her love in this post and wrote, “I will never forget the time I spent with Zoya Nasir. Will "I had a great time with you," he wrote, addressing Zoya. I will always remember this year and a half. "Unfortunately, we both had different views on life and we were in favor of a different future, which led to our separation."

According to reports, Zoya and Chris got engaged on Valentine's Day in February this year. Chris had converted to Islam earlier this year. The two were in a relationship even before Chris converted to Islam and got engaged, and the two appeared together in the video. However, on May 22, Zoya Nasir surprised fans by suddenly telling her about the end of her engagement with Chris via an Instagram post. Zoya wrote in her post that "Chris Batesman's views on Islam and Pakistan suddenly changed, which forced me to end the engagement." However, in response, Chris also stated in an explanatory post that "I have not said anything wrong about the religion of Islam or Pakistan. However, I am worried about Pakistani issues, it was misunderstood that maybe I have started to hate Pakistan.
