Extreme heat in Pakistan, touched 50 degrees

 

A severe heat wave is raging in Pakistan. The temperature in Sibi touched 50 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, it was very hot all over Pakistan on Sunday. The temperature in Sibi touched 50 degrees Celsius while Jacobabad, Dadu, Mohenjo-daro and Larkana recorded 48 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Padaidan and Shaheed Benazirabad was recorded at 47 degrees Celsius today.

The Meteorological Department said that the weather will be hot and dry in most districts of the country on Monday while it will be extremely hot and dry in the central and lower districts. Rain is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Punjab, Potohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir with strong winds and thundershowers. Due to the extreme heat, dusty winds and gusts are likely in the plains of the country in the afternoon.
