Education ministers meeting, summer vacations limited

 

A meeting of inter-provincial education ministers chaired by Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has decided not to promote any student without examination this year.

The meeting, chaired by Shafqat Mahmood, was attended by the education ministers of the four provinces, as well as the education ministers of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. It was decided at the meeting that no student would be promoted without examination this year. The meeting agreed that examinations for all classes would be held in any case.

It was decided at the meeting that the tenth and twelfth examinations would be held in June. In case of delay in result, universities will admit on the basis of Provisional Certificate. It was also decided at the meeting that summer vacations would be reduced and the decision would be taken by the provinces.
