Bollywood actor Salman Khan's father and well-known writer Saleem Khan has sharply criticized his son's new film "Radhe".
In an interview to a Hindi newspaper, Saleem Khan said that Radha is not a big movie. Film critics are comparing Radha and Dabangg 3, though both are separate films. Salman Khan's film "Bajrangi Bhai Jan" was a good film.
Saleem Khan said that the purpose of commercial cinema is to make money for everyone, this is the reason why commercial cinema continues to run. The commercial aspect of the film Radha is that it has provided employment to the people but it is not a good film.
He said that the film industry was running out of good writers because Reuters had given up the habit of reading. These people do not read Hindi or Urdu literature at all. Referring to the film Zanjeer, he said that this one film had put Hindi cinema on a track, but since then, Bollywood has not been able to find a new pair of Saleem Javed.
It may be recalled that in the past, the duo of Saleem Khan and Javed Akhtar had gained a good reputation in the Hindi film industry. Both not only wrote blockbuster films but also increased the importance of writers in the industry.
