Pakistan has offered India official support in the fight against Corona.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistan has offered assistance to India, which is suffering from the worst wave of Corona. Pakistan has offered to supply ventilators, X-ray machines, and other equipment to the neighboring country. A Foreign Office spokesman said the aid was offered in good faith.

It is to be noted that India is currently suffering from the worst wave of Corona where more than 300,000 cases are being reported on a daily basis. In the last 24 hours, 346,000 new cases of corona and more than 2,600 deaths have been reported in India. Earlier, Faisal Edhi, head of the Edhi Foundation, a Pakistani charity, had written a letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi offering to send a team of Edhi volunteers.
