Police have arrested an actor named Fahmi Raza on charges of writing insulting words about the Malaysian queen on Instagram.
According to the international news agency, on the social networking website Instagram, Queen Tenko Aziza Amina Maimona Alexandria of Malaysia posted a post in which an actor made an inappropriate comment. Consumers also expressed anger over the actor's comments.
Police have arrested an actor named Fahmi Raza on charges of insulting the wife of the country's constitutional king. The actor also uploaded a playlist of songs from music portal Spotify and posted a picture of the queen with songs that included words of jealousy.
The actor is also accused of answering his followers as to whether he (the queen) was "envious". The response caused a stir on social media. The Queen's Instagram account was temporarily suspended following the uproar. There was no comment when it was restored.
It is to be noted that actor Fahmi Raza has been arrested earlier for copying former Prime Minister Najib Razak but his sentence was commuted by an official order.
