The Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned till next week the hearing on the bail plea of PML-N leader Khawaja Asif in a disproportionate assets case.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Alia Neelam and Justice Farooq Haider heard Khawaja Asif's bail plea in the Lahore High Court.
NAB's counsel sought rejection of Khawaja Asif's bail plea and sought respite.
Khawaja Asif's lawyer took the position that NAB arrested him from Islamabad on December 29 for disproportionate assets and money laundering. I have not submitted.
The NAB, Election Commission and FBR have all the records and details of assets so the bail application should be approved.
Khawaja Asif PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah was also present in the court on the occasion.
It should be noted that due to the dissolution of the bench, the last hearing was adjourned without proceeding.
