Acting to ensure implementation of Corona SOPs, CTO Lahore directed to issue challans to those driving without masks. So far, 165,000 challan tickets have been issued.
According to details, CTO Syed Hamad Abid has said that citizens should not be allowed to enter driving license offices and return centers without masks, challans should be issued to motorcyclists and car riders who do not wear masks, SOPs in public transport. Cases of violation will also be registered.
Syed Hamad Abid said that according to statistics, so far 12 cases have been registered for violation of Corona SOPs in public transport, 1,171 vehicles were stopped for carrying more than 50 percent passengers, 116,000 motorcycles, 22,260 rickshaws and Challan tickets have been issued to more than 10,000 vehicles.
