The accountability court has fixed five references in the fake accounts case against Asif Ali Zardari for hearing.
According to details, the accountability court has summoned Asif Ali Zardari in a suspicious transaction reference of Rs 8 billion on May 20, while the accused named in the reference, stenographer Mushtaq Ahmed has also been summoned on the same day. The court has issued summons to Asif Zardari and Mushtaq Ahmed. The reference states that there is strong evidence that Asif Zardari built Clifton's house with corruption. Asif Zardari's stenographer paid for the purchase of the house. Rs 150 million paid from stenographer Mushtaq's account, Asif Zardari did not provide any proof of house in Clifton.
