The Sindh government has requested the federal government to deploy troops in the province to curb the spread of the corona virus.

After the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the Sindh government also sought help from the army. Both provinces sent the letter to the federation. The Sindh government has sent a letter to the federal interior ministry requesting the deployment of Pakistani forces to assist the civil administration under Article 245 of the constitution.

The letter called on the Pakistan Army to assist the civil administration in curbing the epidemic. It was decided at the NCOC meeting to take the services of the Army.
