Former Pakistan cricket fast bowler Umar Gul is credited with taking 5 wickets in an innings for the first time in the history of T20.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today released the highlights of this memorable match and said that Umar Gul is the first player in the history of T20 International to take 5 wickets in a single match.

Umar Gul achieved this feat in the match against New Zealand in 2009.
Not only that, but Umar Gul is the first bowler in history to take 5 wickets in an innings in all three formats of Test, ODI and T20 international cricket. This is an honor that no one has been able to snatch from Omar Gul.
