Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli became the first batsman to score 3,000 runs in a T20 International, a milestone Kohli crossed in the T20 match against England in Ahmedabad.
Remember that this was the 87th match of the Indian captain in which he crossed the figure of three thousand.
Kohli is followed by New Zealand's Martin Guptill who has scored 2839 runs in 99 matches while his compatriot Rohit Sharma is at the third position who has scored 2773 runs in 109 matches. He has scored 311 runs at an average of and has so far averaged more than 50 runs in all three formats of cricket.
