In the Indian state of Maharashtra, a leopard attacked and killed a civilian.
The incident took place in Gondia district of Maharashtra, where a weak man was stabbed to death by a leopard, according to a foreign news agency.
A 70-year-old man was attacked by a leopard in the village of Arjuni in Gondia. The Forest Department said that if the man did not return home till late at night, the family became concerned and started searching everywhere.
Upon receiving the information, the staff of the forest department found the weak person and handed over the body to the family members. They were found dead near the forest.
An autopsy report revealed that he had been attacked and killed by a leopard. The incident left the entire family in mourning and the people close to them are also in shock.
