A citizen in Saudi Arabia got into trouble when he found out that he had not paid 29,000 riyals in traffic fines.
As a result of this uncommitted sin, the said citizen is facing great complications in renewing the legal documents of his foreign wife.
According to Saudi media, a Saudi citizen was revealed to have more than 50 traffic violations in his record worth 29,000 riyals.
The man had gone to the relevant government agency to renew his foreign wife's documents, where he was told that the renewal was not possible due to traffic fines.
The citizen told the media that in 2013 he was associated with a private company which had provided him with a vehicle for transportation.
The company had issued him a driving license from the traffic department, but he quit his job the following year and returned the car.
The citizen says that the company did not revoke the license and all the traffic fines on the vehicle were recorded in my record.
The citizen told the media that he could not get his foreign wife's documents renewed as it was not possible to renew them until the fines were paid.
The citizen said in a very depressed tone that due to non-renewal of his wife's papers, he is also facing many domestic problems. There are constant quarrels in the house due to which now my wife has also started demanding divorce.
