The protest of restaurant owners in Lahore has brought color and dining under the open sky has been allowed till 10 pm.
According to the details, the protest has been called off by the restaurant owners after the demand was accepted. And employees gathered in Liberty Square and blocked Main Boulevard.
Restaurant workers blocked roads at two places throughout the day in protest. The protesters blocked the roads in groups, causing traffic jam from Liberty Market to Hussain Chowk and Kalma Chowk. It has been closed for the whole year before and now the government has imposed the ban again. The talks between the restaurant owners and the district administration were successful at night after which the outdoor dining hours were extended by 2 hours.
