In Sector G-13, unidentified assailants opened fire on a patrolling police vehicle, injuring three policemen.
When the police team signaled the motorcyclists to stop, the accused opened fire and fled the scene. The injured include a sub-inspector Jamil and two constables Qaiser and Jamil. The three injured have been shifted to PIMS Hospital, where ,the condition of the victim is said to be critical. Sub-Inspector Jamil was shot in the shoulder while both the constables were shot in the chest. The police mobile was on a routine patrol when the incident took place.
