Fast and Furious next film release postponed to June.

Universal Pictures has postponed the release of F9, the next film in the car racing action crime thriller Hollywood film series 'Fast and Furious', for a month.

According to the report of the British news agency 'Reuters', the movie 'F9' will be released on June 25.

The release of the film has been postponed by Hollywood studios in an attempt to find out when moviegoers will probably hit theaters in large numbers.

The move indicates that Comcast Corp's unit is confident that corona virus vaccines will be more widely available in the United States and Canada this summer.

Cinemas in New York, the second largest city in the United States in terms of moviegoers, are set to reopen today (March 5).

Theater operators, including AMC Entertainment, Sign World PLC and Sign Mark Holdings, are hoping to make blockbusters in the winter.

Keep in mind that film studios do not want to release their most expensive action movies unless they receive a large production and marketing fee.

The next big budget action movie to be released in Hollywood is Walt Disney's Marvel movie Black Video which is set to release in theaters on May 7.

The Fast & Furious franchise has grossed more than 5 billion globally since the first film was released in 2001.

The F9, starring One Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, was originally scheduled to be released in April 2019 and has been postponed several times.

Other films to be released in the summer include 'Top Gun: Maureen' and 'Marvel's The Legend of Ten Rings', which will be released in July.

After postponing the release of the F9 until the end of July, Universal Studios postponed the release of the animated film 'Menon: The Rise Grove' from July 2021 to July 2022.
