According to Pakistan Army Public Relations Department, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has met foreign players and coaches.
Javed Afridi, owner of Peshawar Zalmai, Darren Sammy, Hashim Amla, former national fast bowler Muhammad Akram were also present in the meeting. He congratulated the cricketers on the success and development of NPSL. The Army Chief lauded the cricketers for being ambassadors of peace. The Army Chief also appreciated the efforts of foreign cricketers to bring international cricket to Pakistan.
