Gilgit-Baltistan-based mountaineer Nisar Sadpara has gone missing while trying to climb the world's 11th highest mountain, Gasher Bram 1, in winter.
Ali Sadpara's son Sajid Sadpara said in a message released on Twitter that Nisar Sadpara had climbed the peak three times before.

Sajid Sadpara said that he climbed K2, the world's second-highest peak at 8,611 meters, once, Nanga Parbat, the 9th highest mountain in the world at 8,126 meters, and the 12th highest mountain in the world at 8,048 meters. The highest mountain, Broad Peak, has been climbed once and the 8,035-meter-high, the 13th highest mountain in the world, Gasher Bram 2, has been climbed four times.
It may be recalled that the death of Muhammad Ali Sadpara, a 45-year-old climber who went missing on K2 during a winter adventure on February 5, has been confirmed.
It may be recalled that Pakistani mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara was engaged in a K2 head adventure in winter and he was accompanied by foreign climbers including his son Sajid Sadpara.
