The administration of the federal capital Islamabad has decided to seal off three sub-sectors of the city in view of the increase in cases of coronavirus.
According to Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat, the sub-sectors to be sealed include F-11/1, I-8/4, and I-10/2.
He further said that all these sectors are being sealed from tonight while business areas and parks will be kept completely closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
According to DC Islamabad, the NOCs issued for festivals and gatherings have been withdrawn while no one will be allowed to engage in underground activities.
According to Hamza Shafqat, a gathering of 300 people in open spaces will be allowed for only 2 hours and offices will not be allowed to call more than 50% of staff.
