A section of the River Thames in the UK has frozen for the first time in 60 years due to severe cold.
Due to severe cold weather, the people are facing difficulties. The concerned authorities have strongly instructed the people to avoid unnecessary travel and take precautionary measures, while school holidays have also been declared.
According to a report of a foreign news agency, the temperature of some areas has been recorded up to minus 20 degrees Celsius. The cold snap in Britain has broken the record of many years.
"I've lived here for 13 years, but I've never seen this river freeze," said one London resident. The flow of the river is very slow in the frozen part of the river.
