The Election Commission has issued instructions to the Returning Officer to withhold the result of NA Daska 75 and has called for an inquiry report.
According to the report of private TV, the returning officers said that the result of NA-75 has been withheld and the reference has been sent to the Chief Election Commissioner. The Chief Election Commissioner has directed the Provincial Election Commission to investigate. The commission will decide whether to release the results or not. The Chief Election Commissioner and members of the Election Commission are present in the offices. ۔
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results of NA-75 Daska, Syeda Noshin Iftikhar of PML-N is leading with 97588 votes while Ali Asjad Malhi of Sialkot PTI is at the second position with 94541 votes. The results of the polling stations are yet to come while the staff of 19 of the 23 missing polling stations have reached the office of the Returning Officer where the counting of votes is underway.
PML-N Central Secretary Information Ahsan Iqbal had alleged that the staff of 23 polling stations of NA-75 went missing with all the records due to which the result of 23 polling stations has become doubtful.
