It has been revealed in the Islamabad traffic accident case that the traffic officials were absent from duty at the time of the incident.
Four youths were killed and two others were injured in a traffic accident at G-11 signal area of Islamabad. A case was registered against the son of Federal Ombudsman Kashmala Tariq and her husband. However, Kashmala Tariq's son Interim bail was due the next day.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SP) Traffic Police said that both the officers have been sentenced after show-cause notice. Constable Ahmed has been fined Rs 10,000 and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shabbir Rs 5,000. ۔ Both officials acted negligently, bringing the organization into disrepute.
