The United Arab Emirates has suspended the visa-free agreement with Israel, which will remain suspended until July 1, 2021.
The UAE's Foreign Ministry says it has decided to ban visa-free entry for Israeli citizens due to rising cases of the corona virus, a situation that will be reviewed until July 1, 2021, after which the visa-free agreement will be re-implemented. It will be decided whether to do it or not.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry has confirmed the suspension of the free visa agreement, saying that the UAE has imposed a temporary ban on coronavirus control. Following the suspension of the agreement, Israeli citizens can now obtain visas to come to the UAE. Citizens of the United Arab Emirates will also have to obtain a visa in advance to travel to Israel.
