Punjab's provincial cabinet has approved the use of Chinese currency in international agreements.
Addressing a news conference, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information, Punjab, said that the provincial cabinet had approved the use of Chinese yuan as currency for energy deals. The cabinet also approved the inclusion of the Chinese yuan on international agreements.
According to Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, the Punjab Cabinet has also approved the provision of 1626 acres of land in Cholistan under the Pak Army's Martyrs Welfare Scheme.
