The Acting US Charge d'Affaires has called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting between the Army Chief and the Acting US Charge d'Affaires discussed issues of mutual interest and the security situation in the region.
On the occasion, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that with the arrival of new US leadership, relations between the two countries would be strengthened. The US Charge d'Affaires praised Pakistan's efforts in the Afghan peace process and said the United States would continue to support peace in Afghanistan.
