Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Bazdar for Information, said that the Punjab government has decided to issue health cards to all the people of the province.
Addressing a news conference, he said that the Punjab Cabinet has decided to include the citizens of the province in the Universal Health Program under which all the citizens and families at the grassroots level would be provided health card facility. A budget of Rs. 1 billion has been allocated. The process of issuing health cards in Punjab will be completed by December 2021.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the Punjab Cabinet has decided that the tax on motorcycles and vehicles will be collected through easy money instead of post offices. The Punjab Cabinet has approved to give tehsil status to Chowk Sarwar Shaheed in Muzaffargarh district and also to establish a university in Bhakkar. Amendments to the Authority Act have been approved for the River Ravi project.
