In India, a father, fed up with his son, bequeathed the property to his dog. According to the India Times, a farmer named Om Narayan Verma, a resident of Bari Beda village in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, had 2 acres of agricultural land and other property. His son was a wanderer and often quarreled with his father over the property.
Recently, the helpless son of 50-year-old Om Narain got into a fight with his parents, on which Om Narain got fed up and wrote a will in which he declared his dog 'Jackie' as the heir of his two acres of land and house after his death. According to the report, the village sarpanch and other dignitaries have demanded that Om Narain reconcile with his son and terminate the will and declare the son as his heir, to which Om Narain says that he insisted on the sarpanch's insistence. He is considering changing his will later.
