A total of 139 bodies have been recovered from mass graves in the Libyan city of Tarhuna since June 2020. Tarhona has never been a UN-backed government in and around Tripoli. The United Nations-backed government has accused its rival, the Eastern Army, of mass killings in Tarhona.
