Doctors at King Faisal Hospital in Saudi Arabia performed a successful operation and removed a kilogram of hair from the girl's abdomen. The condition of the affected woman is now better.
According to Arab media reports, a kilogram of hair had accumulated in the abdomen and large intestine of an 18-year-old girl at King Faisal Hospital in Makkah Mukarramah, which caused her severe pain. But doctors recommend rest.
According to the report, when the victim reached the hospital, her abdominal pain had increased. X-rays and tests showed that hair had accumulated in her abdomen, after which preparations for the operation were started.
The medical team surgically removed the hair follicle from the girl's abdomen and large intestine. Doctors say the girl used to sit and chew her hair for a long time, which over time became a lump in the bat.
Psychologists believe that chewing hair is the result of stress or anxiety.
