Intermittent rains lashed various cities of Punjab including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Sargodha, Hafizabad and Vehari.
According to local newspaper, Jhala Bari, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Kamonki and Murree in Lahore Cantt area also received thundershowers. The weather intensified due to rains and cold winds.
On the other hand, a new cycle of snowfall has started in the upper areas. The snowfall in Astor district of Gilgit-Baltistan has affected the livelihood system and people have been trapped inside their homes.
