PIA plane "arrested" in Malaysia

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Boeing 777 aircraft has been taken into custody by Malaysian authorities in the light of court orders for non-payment of lease dues, Malaysian authorities were contacted by the leasing company.

The leasing company was not paid the amount due to which the company approached the court, it was stated that PIA did not pay the lease money as well as other dues. And these amounts were shown in profit by the Air Force management headed by Air Marshal Arshad Malik, the head of PIA who was on deputation.

A PIA spokesman said efforts were being made to resolve the issue, adding that the seizure of the plane was unfortunate, the matter was being heard by the British government and arrangements were being made for the care of passengers. Has been notified.

It was informed that the plane had reached Kuala Lumpur from Islamabad yesterday and today it had prepared to fly back and the passengers had boarded. However, the plane was not allowed to take off by the air traffic controller.
