Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, has said that Pakistan Army has joined the top 10 most powerful forces in the world. Despite limited financial resources, Pakistan Army has proved its mettle due to its efficiency and capability.
In a statement on social networking site Twitter, Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Pakistan has become the tenth most powerful country in the world in terms of military strength.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the capability of Pakistan Army in the top 15 forces of the world has significantly increased, no country other than Pakistan has improved in the rankings.

He said that if immature and unsuccessful politicians spend their energies on encouraging and strengthening their security forces instead of making the national security agencies controversial, then the time is not far when Pakistan Army will be at the forefront of the world's forces.
