Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa was awarded Bahrain's highest military honor, the Order of Bahrain Award. The award was presented to the Army Chief by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Bahrain where he met the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hammad.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief also met with Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Chief of the Armed Forces of Bahrain Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Khalifa.
