The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has rejected reports of a rise in the prices of petroleum products.
According to private TV, the OGRA spokesperson said that no summary has been sent to the government regarding the increase in the prices of petroleum products.
It is to be noted that news was circulating from media sources that OGRA had sent a summary of the increase in prices of petroleum products to the Petroleum Division. Sources said that the price of petrol is likely to go up by Rs 11.95 per liter while the price of high-speed diesel has been proposed to go up by Rs 9.57 per liter.
However, OGRA has now denied the news.
