The Prime Minister has said that after accepting all the demands of the Hazara community, you should bury the martyrs, I will come to Quetta today. Addressing the function of Special Technology Zones Authority, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government stands with the Hazara community. No one in Pakistan has been oppressed as much as the Hazara community. The Hazara community has been oppressed the most in our country. Hazara community was persecuted after XI, India is conspiring against Pakistan.
On the other hand, the grief of the victims of the Machh tragedy could not be lessened. The sit-in of Hazara community with the bodies against the Machh incident in Quetta entered its sixth day. The Martyrs Committee refused to end the sit-in while the participants also refused to bury the dead till the arrival of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Yesterday, political leaders from different parts of the country arrived in solidarity with the participants of the sit-in. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto reached Quetta from Karachi and participated in the sit-in. Yousuf Gilani and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah were also with them. The P leadership offered condolences to the bereaved family.
A delegation of Nawaz League led by Maryam Nawaz also reached Quetta for sit-in. He expressed condolences to the leaders of Hazara community on the Machh incident, also consoled the women, Ahsan Iqbal, Pervez Rashid, Maryam Aurangzeb, Rana Sana and other leaders were also included in the delegation. JUI leader Abdul Ghafoor Haideri also expressed solidarity with the victims of the sit-in. Meanwhile, protest sit-ins are going on in 30 places of the city in Karachi to express solidarity with the Machh tragedy.
There are blocks. Citizens leaving their homes took to the streets. Traffic is suspended on Shara Faisal, University Road, MA Jinnah Road, II Chandragar Road and others. The main sit-in exhibition is going on at Chowrangi while a few protesters have blocked roads at 30 places including Korangi, Nazimabad, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Steel Town, Ayesha Manzil, Surjani Town, Shah Faisal Colony, Malir, Korangi Industrial Area.
