The Supreme Court has allowed Meesha Shafi's appeal against the decision of the Lahore High Court in the harassment case for a preliminary hearing.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Mushir Alam heard the case. The court said that the questions raised by Meesha Shafi's lawyer were worthy of consideration. Justice Mushir Alam said that notices were being issued only to clarify the legal points. The court attached the case to the self-notice taken to define sexual harassment. The court issued connotations to Ali Zafar and Advocate General Punjab.
