The agenda for the proposal to open educational institutions has been included in the Education Ministers' Conference. It may be recalled that the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference will be held on January 4. It may be recalled that Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood had said regarding the opening of educational institutions that the decision on whether to open educational institutions after January 10 or not would be taken on January 4.
He said that as the Minister of Education, he wanted the schools to open soon but could not take any risk on the health of the children. Shafqat Mahmood added that religious schools across the country are closed. It may be recalled that in view of the deteriorating situation in Corona, educational institutions were announced to be closed across the country. It was decided in the meeting by the Federal Ministry of Education that home learning would continue from November 26 to December 24. From November 26, online classes can be taken from all educational institutions in Pakistan. Schools, colleges, universities, tuition centers will all be closed. There will be winter holidays from December 25 to January 10 and children will not come to the educational institutions. The children will continue their education at home. On January 11, if the situation improves, all the educational institutions will be reopened.
